Dr. Christopher Yang
Dr. Christopher Yang was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI. He graduated at the top of his class from Sheboygan South High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating with honors in biochemistry, Dr. Yang attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Here he received his training in the latest technological advances of dentistry.
Dr. Yang completed his general practice residency (GPR) at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. A GPR program is an intensive postgraduate training program designed to train dentists in the management of medically complex and special-needs patients while enhancing their skills in the practice of dentistry and its various disciplines. During this time, Dr. Yang received exceptional training in implant dentistry, oral surgery, periodontology, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Yang is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Sheboygan County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Sheboygan Lakeshore Study Club, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also serves as the legislative liaison for the Sheboygan County Dental Society and represents Sheboygan as delegate to the annual Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates.
Besides his professional engagements, Dr. Yang is deeply involved in many local organizations and groups since moving back to Sheboygan. Dr. Yang and his family are regular volunteers at the Southside Sheboygan Catholic Parishes and he served as chairperson of the pastoral council. Dr. Yang is the parish liaison and a member of the Christ Child Academy Governance Board. Dr. Yang has been involved with Wisconsin’s annual (now biennial) Mission of Mercy events since 2011. He also volunteers regularly at LTC’s dental assisting program to help aspiring students. Dr. Yang is married to Kabao and they have four lovely children.
